A silver man’s watch is to American men what the little black dress is to American women, except maybe that most men can’t justify owning five. The point is, however, that everyone ought to have a good quality silver watch. It’s versatile, both casual and dress, and it’s always in fashion.
Most silver male watches aren’t actually sterling silver, but rather stainless steel, since it tools better in watch making than does silver. Designers of men’s watches often implement silver, however, not in the mechanism, but in the stylized details of the timepiece. Tag Heuer is an excellent example of this.
